I can sell you some deep cycles though. I have acquired about 15 so far in last couple of years 
You are correct on that. I had amp hours on my mind from all the solar stuff I’m doing.
How much do you use your 12v for extended periods?
I sometimes run my wfp pump for 3 or 4 hours in one day. I think it pulls 6.5 or 7 amps at full power.
That’s a good argument for using the battery tender.
So I just run a small deep cycle battery that charges off my truck. Typically I push the button on my fuse (like the resettable one shown above) and disconnect it if I am not going to be running my 12v much. When I know it’s getting low (because my predator doesn’t turn over normally) I will flip the breaker back on and let it charge off the truck for a day or so of normal driving.
Rinse repeat.
But I only use my “auxiliary” battery for starting my pw and to use my 12v to fill my mix tank for my pw. I rarely use my 12v for any applications.
I have had times where I was using the 12v and knew it was low. So I start the truck and flip the switch. That means that the truck is powering some of the 12v. But I also run a really heavy duty alternator for plowing.
I have to do a completely new build this winter since I won’t be using that truck anymore for washing…
I can tell you that as good as it worked I won’t be doing that on the beast. I’ll have 2-3 deep cycle batteries that will have a tender.

Found this the other day. $12 and you’re in business. You can wire your 12v relay and fuse in too so it’s not sitting in the same box as your 12v pump that fills up with SH and water… ask me how I know that’s important. Lol
