Application suggestion

Hey all, I was finishing up a roof when a neighbor came over and asked if I would try to clean the street in front of his house. I explained I did not have a pressure washer but offered to try and lay some Chem down and see if it could help. He said he tried several things to get the stains out of the street. He stated he believed the stains were from an iron based fertilizer that a company applied to his yard, though I think he did it himself lol it doesn’t look like oil because of how light and brown is it. I laid a 50/50 mix on it and it didn’t budge a thing. Has anyone ever seen this before and if so what solution would you suggest? Could be a decent pay day for me if I can get the stains up.

OneRestore or f9 products

Bleach won’t touch that. As Donny mentioned download the F9 cookbook app and go from there.

I will say however that is asphalt and owned by the city (taxpayers) so attempting to clean city property may need permission first.

Thanks guys, the HOA has tasked the homeowner to correct the street as they believe he is the one who damaged it, so I guess technically I have permission. F9 cookbook got it

In my area, if it’s a private street and maintained by the HOA, then they can decide what’s done to the street. But the vast majority of subdivision roads are owned by the city.

Now my city wouldn’t care if you were trying to make the street “nicer” and weren’t doing any damage. But I can imagine some cities being pretty picky about what’s happening to their streets. Or a homeowner calling the city about what you’re doing and then the city shows up to have a chat with you.

These guys nailed it. There’s a compound in fertilizer that will leave rust deposits on concrete, asphalt, etc. I’ve cleaned it a handful of times with great success using F9 BARC however I’ve never used it on asphalt so definitely consult the cookbook first. I imagine it’s the same process as concrete but better to be safe than sorry.

Man thanks so much guys. This forum is teaching me so much. That cookbook is like the gospel. F9 Barco seems to be the answer. Before ordering I’m going to get hoa approval first and charge them directly. Or just pass on the job. Thanks a lot

This site sells F9 so go through here if you can and support the site.

Their shipping is insanely fast. It rivals PressureTek. And free shipping over $49 is hard to beat.

don’t forget to add that they package better than some other places. Best packaged 4 pack of f-9 ever came from here.
