Another yardsign topic

Hey guys. I’m making yard signs. I’m trying to keep it basic and choose a color that will be noticable, but easy to read from afar. Which one do you think would be the best to go with? Thanks guys!

I’d get rid of the &, and replace it with a thin horizontal line, and enlarge the text above and below it

My opinion would be loose Soft Wash. it will give more room for larger words and #.

Overall i doubt people care/notice Soft Wash… they just want their house clean is my thinking

Make the primary background a dark color. White lettering, maybe get 2 designs/ house washing/ pressure washing. your number is in a good place. website below that. Company name is irrelevant on a yard sign. Stretch name and numbers to cover the full sign. That & symbol is killing your space. and you can really allow those name and numbers to be bigger. Try a navy blue sign, white letting, bigger words. Red banner behind the number.

What makes you more money and gets your foot in the door to do the other things?

That should be the only thing on it in my opinion. And a phone number or website.

If I had it to do over again I wouldn’t have put my logo at the top.

Those were zip tied to the tote last year. But it’s a yard sign. Now we only carry one and stick it in the yard of the house we’re washing.

You leave them?

No they’re only there as long as we are. Sometimes if I remember and it’s a subdivision with only one or two entrances and exits will carry three want to put at the entrance want to put the exit and then they’ll come with us when we’re done

I was about to start doing this, any ever get stolen or you get scolded about putting them in the entrances while you work?

Who’s going to scold a grown man? And why would that grown man care? They’re never there longer than two hours usually. I’ve never been scolded. But the only signs to get stole one of the ones that we leave places. I still have probably 20 on the shelf but don’t get used. We just keep recycling the same three or four .

How about these?

Maybe scold wasn’t the right word. I meant like a property manager or something for the HOA. Anyways Gotcha I understand.

These things have been killing it this year

Went to a local print shop. I told him what I wanted and made it right before my eyes in about 2 mins. I was amazed. Those guys are damn good at what they do! When I told him water bubble background he went to google and we picked one out.

I like the signs! I’m not sure if you guys do this, but a couple of people I know leave signs and about 20-30 door hangers in the neighborhood that they just finished a job in, saying something along the lines of hey we just finished your neighbors house in xyz address. since we’re in the area we’re extending a 10% off to all the neighbors
