It could be really good for you once you learn how to do it right.

Exactly. My comments were not to discourage him from adding window cleaning, I think it is a great idea. Just to be sure you know what you are doing before hand.

In fact, I don’t know how I would be able to offer pressure washing/house washing without knowing how to clean the windows afterwards. As a matter of course, I include exterior window cleaning with every house wash (I build it into the price), otherwise the windows usually end up spotty.

Thank you Dan. Sincerely. I will wait to learn more before offering that service. It wasn’t discouraging. It was good advice to not get me in over my head.

I have heard very good things about using roof snot in a house wash mix. It supposedly has a rinse aid in it which helps to reduce spotting on windows after a house wash. Anyone have any experience?

Being in Canada, I am forced to find local suppliers. This is what I have just ordered as a surfactant:
CleanIt

I spoke with the manufacturer and this is an alkaline product that should be bleach stable. It also has water softeners and “excellent sheeting”. Could be makes window cleaning a spray and go situation??? I will update.

Lol, i learned real quick that always having a bag of o-rings is a must…i havent ran out but came close when i had to cannabalize other QD’s on a job. Funny how such a small thing can bring your entire operation to a halt…heck, even now when im nice and sweaty…and a little SH mist in the air and im squinting my eyes…about every 3rd job i manage to launch a tip and the o-ring is long gone!

Lost my first jrod last week. Shot off my gun & couldn’t find it anywhere. Thing had to fly off. Was lucky I didn’t have it pointed at a window, that’s why u always point it to the side when you pull the trigger. Anyways had an extra jrod in my tool box so I didn’t miss a beat

I launched my jrod today for the first time. It hit my hand, and I was greatful no damage done. Lost an o ring though.

Ya, I do that as a habit, because the initial blast is so much stronger. But, I can just imagine switching my jrod pointing it at a window, pulling the trigger and the nightmare begins.

Squeeze the trigger slower. Learned that one from @Racer
