Another burned out pump?

At the beginning of the season one of our 2 washers went down (both running cat pumps) i replaced one with a different brand and its been great! Our second washer is fairly new with only 1 season on it. Everything was working fine yesterday, took the rig out this morning and the cat pump isnt producing any pressure. Water flow was good and constant but no pressure through the pump. Its pretty cold here in NY so ive been parking the rig in a heated garage. Checked oil and everything looks normal. Any ideas?

Pull your valves and see if you have anything holding them from closing and then sell the cat pump off and get something better

Did you remove that little screen where the hose hooks in?
Did you check the unloader to make sure it is working properly?
Do you have a reserculating valve that may be open?

That little screen???

Im running small machine now, but never occured to me it could affect performance/flow of water

Yes where your hose attaches to the PW there is a little screen in side - like a red washer I took mine out and installed a regular filter on the inlet hose.

Yes sir, i know exactly what you are referring to
