Even if you never had your own kids or haven’t yet… know that some kid some where in your world looks up to you as a dad or father figure… maybe many, so hope you all have a super duper fabulous day tomorrow!

My dad was killed in 1989 and I sure do miss him. What I wouldn’t give for just one more day with him…

I see. Maybe I should try some fancy socks. Are they bleach proof… I could use some of those. I have probably 20 pairs of bleached socks. I only wear them for work but I can’t stand working in pants so sometimes it looks kind of funny. One half black sock and one offwhite orangy that used to be black.
Getting a couple pairs of new Key bibs every holiday may just change your mind.

Having kids isn’t something I think I was ever wired with the desire for. Nothing against kids. And my dad is freaking awesome. And I have total respect for parents. Holy smokes what a responsibility.
Sometimes I forget to feed myself.
Just don’t have that part of my brain. (Or a few others)

I was the same way. I raised my nephew, raising my wife’s previous kids and now got one of my very own though I’m a father to them all. Nothing prepares you for life quicker than raising a child.

I got my ol’ man a new bench grinder since his is probably pedal powered, Emma made brownies, and we’re on our way to pizza lunch buffet because the ol’ man is easy to please.

No kids, but fruit snacks as well as both smooth AND crunchy peanut butter on the counter. I’d bet there are Capris Sun in the refrigerator too! Hilarious.
