Advice on a seemingly great deal?

Hey guys. Im new here, I introduced myself about a week ago. I’m 18 and starting a pressure washing business after reading on here for over half a year and doing a few friends and families houses. I recently picked up an old 4 gpm Honda cat pump direct drive machine. And lately I have been looking for a small 5x8 trailer locally to start with. I came across a craigslist listing today, with someone selling an old setup for $1300 cash. This includes a 5 gpm electric start machine, with a sediment filter. Two Hannay hose reels (one electric) 200 ft of hose, and 50 gal tank. The machine apparently has about 500-700 hours on it, and he said he’s selling due to upgrading his rig. I wasn’t planning on purchasing a whole rig yet, but It seems like a great deal to me. I wanted to come here and ask yalls opinion since I trust you guys more than myself, lol. Appreciate yalls input, pictures included

Thanks for the quick input! Just shot him a text telling him to bring it by. It almost seemed like too good of a deal so I had to come here first and make sure I wasn’t going crazy, lol.

Lol, I knew when Hannay reels were mentioned William’s ears would perk like a cat stalking a bird.:+1:

And yes that is a (hopefully not😆) smoking deal.

Haha. We’ll see

Yep, if I were closer, I’d have bought it. :joy: Sounds like a great deal. Now, go for a tandem axle if you can swing for it.

That electric reel alone is worth $600 new and the washer like 12-1400. I’d buy it too

Make sure you test it all out.

Possible scam?

Only thing he said was a small leak at the swivel on the hose reel, and that he’d include an extra - but I’m going to test everything out first to make sure it’s all bueño. Hopefully not, lol

Great deal. Easily worth double the price. Check oil, gas tank and pressure on the pump. It’s such good deal I would buy it myself.
