8gpm equipment recommendation

Hey guys I’m looking to buy a 8gpm 3500psi skid. Possibly hot also. I’m looking for recommendations on who may have the fastest shipping times and maybe who can modify certain aspects of the machine by request. Thanks!!

Most everyone has good shipping times as 90% are dropped shipped directly from Pressure Pro or Barrens for the different vendors. Modifying is a different ball of wax. Paul at powerwashstore probably will but It slows down the order. Might be better to buy and modify on your own. Not many actually have an 8 at 3500 but you will find many gx690 and 8 gpm pump combos out there

What do you need to modify?

Thank @Innocentbystander I appreciate the reply and @Racer nothing in particular I just didn’t know if guys knew anyone that would swap out unloaders, pumps, wands, types of hose ect. before they ship.

If you order it, they’ll build it anyway you like. Like Innocent said, 90% of them will be dropped shipped from factory. For example, I always order mind with bloc mounted unloader and specify which unloader I want. I’’ pm you best priced place to buy.

@Racer can you please send me the info as well. And what’s your take on 12v vs 110? Get a lot of mix talk

@Racer

Sir I also read you suggest a 3500 8gpm due to friction loss and Nozzle pressure, would you suggest the 8gpm 3000110v system from Pressure tek or a custom build with a 8gpm 3500 and a separate 110 hotbox up to 8gpm ?

Check out the water dragon 8gpm hot water unit with the Udor pump. Small footprint. That may be my next unit

I think the 12v systems have gotten better over the years and they’re cheaper by a decent amount over the 115 and plenty of people use them, but the advantage going the other way is you’ve got an extra power source for say running lights at night etc. Most the old school guys still like 115 based systems just because they can be more reliable…

I would never get an 8 3000psi unit, but I do a lot of concrete. With 3500psi unit, 200ft of hose and running through hot water I’m getting 2700psi and end of hose and you’re going to lose a tad more thru surface cleaner. You add another 100’ of hose and now you’re down to 2400 psi which may be ok on residential but getting pretty low on commercial.

I just purchased a Hydrotek unit from L&H today. They made a modification to it and it is shipping tomorrow. They were also about $1800 less than 3 other places I checked with.

I was down there last week buying some equipment and they had great prices on the Hydrotek stuff. Best I’d seen too.

What’s the best deals you guys are seeing in 8gpm units now?
