3.5 gpm 4000 psi hot water machine

You will want a belt drive or gear drive when pulling from a tank. You can gravity feed a direct drive, but your results may be very bad and end up with a starved pump. You can pick up a 3.5gpm to 4k used of Craigslist for like 600 and hook it up to a north star hot box for around a total of 2300. When the pump craps out you can replace it for like 400.

I know the bigger machines are superior. However my Honda 4gpm @ 4000psi skid has done me solid since getting it and knocked out everything I have thrown at it. Of course when business gets going solid I will probably upgrade, but I’m not having issues with finished results with my machine at all.

Cody i have a Honda GX390T with a General EZ4040 pump currently and downstream my chemical after my hot box.

I must be lucky…but I have two seasons on two direct drive 4gpm machines with Honda GX340’s with zero issues and we run 6-7 days a week 6 hours run time a day from March-Nov. Zero issues with the engines or pumps.

back on this topic again… I gravity feed 1400 gallons of water a day to my direct drive machines with zero issues. Each machine is plumbed to a 350 gallon tank, gravity feed through 1in Spa hose 4ft long with no bends and zero issues. Take the machine off the cart, and mount to a skid to get the water inlet lower. I can use the machine until theres about 5 gallons left in the tanks.

Cool, I think I’m gonna get the hot washer because by the time I get cold
pw and hot box and generator it will be about the same. I’m gonna spend my
whole savings on this small business

Man I’m scared of the direct drive. I been hearing too much negative

You would be well of talking to a local dealer. Even if you don’t buy from then they’ll clearup alot of questions for you.

I been talkin to local dealers they all say go with belt

Wow, I didn’t really now where to post this, I was contemplating upgrading to hot water, after seeing some of the prices HERE(Australia) I am soooo jealous of how much you guys can get a hot water unit for.
I was quoted 4k… JUST for the heater. 8k for a 3.5gal for system with hot water and between 20-24k for a 5 gal system, not trailer mounted those are portable, trailer mounted is 38-74k.

I really want to build my own system, was looking into healing alternatives, like for instance instantaneous hot water healer, but I doubt they could get to the temperature i need.

I seriously would not spend your whole savings on starting the business. Spend half or less if possible and build your way back up to the 6k. You still need money for marketing and insurance. What happens if you spend all your money and the machine craps out but you have 5 houses lined up the next day.

Keep in mind, just because you have expensive equipment does not mean you can land or sell to clients. I think you would be best suited to getting a cheap machine and focusing on marketing and then reinvesting the money and having a good backup.

Order one from us

It could go either way though. I wanna take the risk. U mean website cards etc? I have a full time job also

Well if you are willing to risk the 6k, make sure you budget for insurance. No reason not to have it.

Ok. I’m gonna call my auto insurance lady tomorrow and see what it cost. What is YOUR marketing advice

See I’f you can put out yard signs and buy door hangers
