So here’s the pictures and situation, looking for everyone’s 2 cents of wisdom!
This restaurant has their property Managment group breathing down their necks since they cart out their grease/oil to a grease disposal area and spill the stuff every now and then.
So, here comes Mr Manager wanting me to clean and get rid of the 2 years of stains in the concrete.
I plan on using Purple Power degreaser, applying it with a roller brush and keeping it wet for anywhere between 10-15 minutes then taking my surface cleaner to town on it. (Just using a small 3300 pressure washer)
I plan on taking two days on it. First one to clean his outdoor patio area but then going and testing an area where the grease staining is bad. If it works great, if not then let the sweat bullets commence.
Do y’all suggest anything different or maybe more extreme in the mixing department?
Also, when I do the spray off…where do you normally spray it off towards? The grass? The street drain? I feel like if I don’t spray it off somewhere then I’m just creating more work for me.
Ha yes, I wanted to test it out before having to rent one. I’m in my second year and I’m saving up for a professional truck build with a heated washer.
Potassium hydroxide would be better to use or even mixing some with sodium hydroxide. Potassium hydroxide breaks down animal fats better than sodium hydroxide does per our forum chemist
