I’m building a new manifold in anticipation of upgrading to a 24v pump and a gas P40 in the future. Currently have a homemade 1/2" mixer using pentair metering valves which has worked great. Is it possible that 1" valves and manifold may be too big for my current 12v 5.5gpm 60psi pump and it won’t be able to draw through 1" plumbing and drop sticks?
Also, does anyone have experience using standard ball valves instead of the fancy expensive “metering” valves? Seems to me ball valves should work fine to adjust for house wash or roof wash. I can’t see where very precise metering of SH levels would be needed. Thanks guys.
