The boots look decent but heavy. Consider a pair of Billy Goats with the synthetic safety toe. Warm, durable and super lightweight for those long days…and no, I’m not associated with the company. Lol
They are the best boots I’ve ever had for the work that I do.
To be honest they are not heavy at all. But the toe area is very soft, there not real safe as far as toe area goes. I do like the bottom souls they do not slip, that’s a big plus. Next pair; ill check out the billy goats… These wont last long, but hey they were like $24…
I wear a synthetic puffer jacket under my waterproof outer layer when it’s really cold. Like a down jacket but the synthetic filler doesn’t mind getting wet.
