The Ladder Saver Tip

OK any of you guys use this?
It sure looks like water goes a long ways.
Just saw it
I saw this and XJet not heard of them

http://laddersaver.com/

I have one of these and it works great. Having said that, anytime I find I am shooting long range like that wind plays a huge factor. It does as advertised for sure.

If you’re using the right tips, you should easily be able to spray 3 stories high with your 8gpm machine.

Have you had the opportunity to compare it side by side with any of the other “shooter” tips?

The integrated quick connect plug seems like a downside (unless it some how enhances the stream in a way the standard 1/4" threaded fittings can’t). You won’t be able to add this to your j-rod, for example.

Most of the Shooter/Sniper nozzles are a good bit cheaper than this one.

0050 or 0060 will still keep you under 100psi with 8 gpm machine.
Or if you want, buy a Guy Blackmon original shooter tip!

I’m asking WHAT IS THE RIGHT LONG RANGE TIP?
I just want one that will shoot me up 3 stories…
Which one is the best to have is my question…
I guess everybody has a opinion on one or the other

Actually you asked if anyone used them. No need for caps. A 6 inch street nipple and a 0050 will do the exact same thing as a ladder saver and will costs you under 6 bucks total. Jarrod had a great idea when he pitched the Jrod idea to Bob but toy don’t have to limit your self to what you buy. You only need three tips. Not four. Weld three together or experiment

Ok Thanks, I’m buying so much chit this and that,

This is the one I have too. It works great with my 4 gpm. Quick and convenient

Today I get 4 things in the mail

I got 2 4 tips bars on for my classic and one for my Ground Force both with sleeves…

I got that ball valve Mrfixit says was good

I

If i’m using a 4 GPM machine, would a 0050 still work, or would a different size be better?

0030 or 0040

If you’re going to get one, get the Guy Blackmon one. SS and will last till you lose it.
The primary difference any shooter tip will do is give you a little tighter pattern so helps if breezy and if you need another 5 ft.

I use the xjet m5. And it cut my time in half. It applies strong chemicles from a long distance with good power. You can get a strong stream or twist it and get a fan pattern. It’s my favorite toy lol

For an 8gpm machine, what oriface size do get for the “shooter tip”?

6 inch street nipple? You mean a short length of 3/8 tube with mpt threads each end?

same thing

I’m thinking the secret to the shooter tips is the orifice is the hole length of the tube, as opposed to a larger pipe terminating with a smaller orifice at the tip. I’ll have to experiment.
I don’t think the galvinized would last too long?
