Normally I would use Cling-On but I ordered a little too late. I was thinking about trying Gain dishwashing liquid but I have no idea how much to put into a 50 gallon mix. I’m thinking an ounce per gallon? Sound right to you guys?
I used Gain a few times this summer as an experiment. I used 60 oz in a 35 gallon mix, and I wasn’t impressed. (I started roof cleaning with roof snot, so I’ve been spoiled since day one) In a pinch, on an 8/12 or less roof, it will be fine, just know that it won’t stick like you’re used to. It’s cheap, so use more than you think you need. Just my $0.02

I know there are folks who have used much less per gallon and have been happy with it, so you may want to search some more here and on PTState to get more insight on it.
We personally use roof snot. But have been thinking about moving to other chems. A good friend of mine uses gain in his mix and swears by it. As long as your generous with it, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Best of luck.
