Spray tips

Lesson learned from the last job as the tip was not all the way locked in and shot out like a cannon. Go figure it was the green tip and the grass was green as could be in this neighborhood. So now I’ll always be carrying extras on the truck. What brands do you guys recommend for spray tips?

Hahaha. I’ve done that at least twice. Why is it always the green one?

I have a Northern Tool about 10 minutes from the house so I just get mine there for $9. I’ve seen them cheaper online at hydraulic warehouse but I can’t speak on the quality or longevity.

Thanks for the laugh this morning. Such a crap feeling hearing that ‘pop’ and knowing your tip has been launched.

Green tip? I don’t use colored tips EVER! :joy:

Scott, what are you washing? Sounds like you are washing with the tips
that came with your washer, they are high pressure tips.

I was rinsing a soffit and fascia on a house I just did. It sounds from your comments that the factory tips are not ideal for rinsing? I use the black chemical tip to lay the detergent on and rinse with green or white depending on area in working on.

Call Bob at Pressure Tek. Tell him the gpm of the machine you are running.
He will set you up with a jrod and tips suitable for soft washing . When I am
feeling mean and aggressive, I hit a soffitt with 100 psi water pressure. Also
let him know what you are soaping with, he will not steer you wrong!
