Snotmenade by south side equipment review

We have been using the Roof snot and Lemon-aid combo for the majority of this year until we ordered Snotmenade last month. We have tested it out in multiple different application methods and we are absolutely impressed with this product from Russ Johnson. We had staff mixing and over mixing roof snot and lemon aid and never really nailing down the mix perfectly and wasting product. Snotmenade eliminates a step of the mixing portion and the guess work for staff and for a great price too. We down stream all of our houses and driveways and typically apply with just the ball valve on first and second floor houses since the suds factor is so much better compared to DS nozzles. The Snotmenade smells great, covers the SH smell really well and has great cling time even on vinyl houses. All of our staff and myself highly recommend this product and suggest anyone in this industry to give it a shot. We have used Freshwash, cherry bomb, Elemonator and the list goes on and I gotta say we have found our new “go to” soap! Thanx Russ for creating and supplying another great product!

Wow! What timing!! I just stumbled across Snotmenade the other night and I was about to post a thread to get peoples’ thoughts on it!!! So you’re using it for house wash too? Good to know…I think I’m gonna get some and give it a try.

(Am I the only one who got a bit stressed pouring the lemonade out of that short-necked container?..With each drop that spilled all I could hear was cash registers!!!)

Oh, also, does it rinse well when used for house wash?

I feel like it rinses better than the roof snot/lemonade mix that we were doing before. Windows look great after too. I have been training staff to let a wall dry a bit then go back and give the windows a quick re-rinse just as a precaution and to avoid call backs. This stuff is great!

How is it for roofs. I really like roof snot for the roofs. Is this the same?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Pressure Washing Resource mobile app

Sounds like it’s the same. I’ve been using the Snot plus Lemonaid and it has done great…I think the only difference is that it’s pre-mixed. I should have some arriving today…I’ll let you know ASAP!

I just bought some yesterday. Did you try it out yet? I’m so anxious to see it work!

Snotmenade is my goto on roofs for past couple of years and for post treating. Since I downstream never used it on houses, just never taken the time to figure out ratios, but sure it would work fine. But love it on roofs. Just talked to Russ the other day about starting to buy it in drums. Hate having to mess with those 5 gal containers.

You will like the drum. I get lemonator in drums and makes life easier. Drum spout and drum rack. Just put a gallon container under the spigot, top it off and put it back on a truck.

Yes, I keep a drum of limonene that I use for houses in a drum and just transfer over to trailer using buckets or my transfer pump. So would definitely be more efficient that dealing with the darn 5 gal buckets. Not good for my hernia lugging those things around, lol. Plus then you have to throw away, how many buckets can the landfill use.

Since this thread is 4-5 years old, I’m curious how everyone’s opinion on Sntomenade has developed. I know it’s based on Roof Snot, and therefore especially target at roof cleaning. Nevertheless, I’d really like to know how it does on siding, especially in comparison with Elemonator. I would guess Elemonator rinses easier as it is primarily a house wash surfactant, but would a less concentrated application of Snotmenade on siding rinse okay? Any ratios on house washing or post-treating flatwork with it would be appreciated.

:eyes: following…

Following. I like SloMo on roofs but not for house washes. Doesn’t rinse off of glass well.
