I have price list questions. Is there a general price list out there for washing the big rigs, to include cleaning the inside of the cab? How about the same for roll-off trucks, to include the interior of the cab. Roll off dumpsters and heavy equipment clean7ng prices. So far I’m just a guy in a pick up with a 4k psi washer and a lot of time on my hands. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Wow! Do you make a decent living at those rates? Fleet washing seems like a good thing, but the prices always look so low! Am I missing something? I’m at $100.00 (absolute minimum) for a 14x70 single wide mobile home, (and they have to be way easier than a grimed out semi trailer, which is 53x8, right?)

Yes the trailers do get nasty. Especially if they have been cross country a few times. You say you get $100.00 per single story trailer, we get about $125.00 maybe a little more. I try to stay away from residential stuff, others flock to it. Usually I only concern myself with commercial and government work. Don’t get me wrong I’ll do residential if needed or if I have time, but I don’t go out looking for it. To each his (or her) own I guess.
Oh, ok yeah the name of the game there is to beat the competition. See if you can get a copy of their prices and knock some money off, just enough to make you look attractive and enough you can make some money. Maybe throw in something they don’t offer. I am not familiar with the company, but I’m sure theres something they don’t offer for one reason or another. Give it a shot see what happens.
I wash fleets that are about 45 minutes from the major cities. There are no large truck wash facilities near the companies I wash for. I get 115 for a base wash, 135 if they want their rims and tanks brightened, and 150 if they are extra dirty (mud caked on) or they want citrus on their shinny trailers.
Good deal but HARD work. It is taking me awhile to do it seeing as I’m by…my…self lol
I use an aluminum brighter called Sunfire from Chappell supply. For aluminum I’ll use a citrus brightened from the same company. Right now I’m using pump sprayers but I’d love to be able to down stream all that eventually. If you have are going to be washing trucks that are cleaned regularly, you’ll only need to “flash” the aluminum. Meaning spray it on and rinse it off. Mix is as directed and only increase if needed. It’s better to be on the lean end of dilution rather than rich. You can play with it.
I usually 2 step for speed. Takes care of everything with less work. Just wondering about how effective the citrus cleaners were. Down streaming will definitely make your life easier. You can walk an entire trailer in 10 seconds and do the entire bottom rail versus a pump up sprayer.
I have a dual lance wand but it doesn’t effect the chemical, just the pressure. There’s a valve on my machine to draw soap and then I have a ball valve on my chem tank. Wish I could switch it while 100ft away
