Obama to announce executive action on gun control

(RNN) – President Barack Obama will take an executive action on guns the first week in January when he returns from vacation, Politico is reporting.
The executive order will narrow - not close - a loophole that allows some sales of guns online or at gun shows without background checks. The order is a reaction to the mass shootings across the U.S. that dominated the news in 2015.
The president and Congress could not agree on any gun control legislation this past year.
