I am starting a log home cleaning. Is there anything I should know that is different than
cleaning any other home as far a using chemicals is concerned.

Yes. I would recommend getting in touch with someone that specializes in logs and paying them to let you work a couple of months up to a year to learn how and what to do. There are several such companies on the forums.
Wood requires specific procedures. Not my specialty so I can’t help much but you definitely need to do some more research.
Should be interesting. Customer decided to let his son clean the log
home. I will drive by in a week or two to see how it came out.

Dawn soap and a brush did my mother-in-law log house
No turbo nozzle get a tip that uses a bigger diameter hole in it to get in between the logs and another on that will pull ur soap and soak brush Rinse real good and when u think you rinse again
