I have never cleaned one before but apparently there’s a demand for it where I live is it hard and what do people charge
There is some learning curve, you cannot expect to clean an exhaust system perfect without some insight.
I would suggest you work for someone for a few years, learn the trade and start your own.
As far as what to charge; Costs + profit = Bill.
Its takes experience to correctly bid how many hours a job will take. You need to know all your expenses down to the last paper clip. Bid responsibly, or you wont turn a profit.
Cleaning entire hood is not possible for me. But I clean the filters every month by putting it into warm water and soap.
