I’m new to this app??
Full of shifty sh*t on thumbtack.
As a test I just put in a quote for a 2 story wash. Low balled the crap out of it at $140. Within 5 minutes the quote was viewed and passed on. I asked the lady if there was a licensed insured contractor with a lower price. She responded with yes, $90.
I’m befuddled…
I think that is the problem in some sreas that have lots of competition. My area it seems most of the leads only get 2-3 bids. Not much competition in my area which really helps
There are 5 bids in my area within 3 minutes. Even on Sunday.
I just looked at the “insights” on the app, and I was 3rd fastest, and put the bid in when there were 0 bids showing. So all 5 pros were virtually keying it in at the same time.
Yeah in situations like that I could completely see thumbtack being a total waste of time and money.
