For some reason when I turn the key to my pressure washer my ground wire Sparks and smokes. The engine doesn’t start. But when I pull the cord it starts. I’m curious if it’s because the ground wire is getting wet? Anyone that can help let me know. I know there are some small engine geniuses on this forum.
Bad ground.
IBS nailed it. Replace the wire and ensure clean tight connections on both ends.
