Gas company compressor stations

We’ve been asked to quote on a number of compressor stations for a large utility. We currently do a lot of window cleaning services for utilities, including nuclear facilities, so credentialing, onboarding, and PPE/vehicle requirements are no problem. These remote compressor stations involve a little flatwork, some siding and roof cleaning, some tanks, bring your own water, no reclamation needed. We’ve done all that type of work.

  1. However, regarding the piping and compressors inside the buildings, any advice from those with expierence?
  2. For taping off electrical or anything (if present), what labor percentage do you add, generally?
  3. Hidden X factor I’m missing in this type of work?
  4. Is there a formula for quoting pipe/valves?

Thanks in advance.

Bump…

Just do it by x amount of ($) per sqft. on the pipe and by valve. Being oilfield , they are probably going to do a lockout-tagout on all of the valve’s and electrical panel’s.
