We’ve been asked to quote on a number of compressor stations for a large utility. We currently do a lot of window cleaning services for utilities, including nuclear facilities, so credentialing, onboarding, and PPE/vehicle requirements are no problem. These remote compressor stations involve a little flatwork, some siding and roof cleaning, some tanks, bring your own water, no reclamation needed. We’ve done all that type of work.
- However, regarding the piping and compressors inside the buildings, any advice from those with expierence?
- For taping off electrical or anything (if present), what labor percentage do you add, generally?
- Hidden X factor I’m missing in this type of work?
- Is there a formula for quoting pipe/valves?
Thanks in advance.
