Are doing fleet trucks for like frac company worth it??
i do some for a trucking company about an hour away. $150 per truck so id say its worth it! usually only 1 or 2 a week though
How long does it take per rig do you just knock the mud and dirt off???
I do this daily at a set location. Some of these trucks are so dirty that 45 minutes to an hour for one man is not uncommon. some companies want acid wash on the wheels and tanks, some want them CLEAN, and some just want them to have a good pressure washing and get back on the road.
Also, going onto an Oilfield companies’ yard can require some pretty hefty insurance. Take this into account as part of your overhead.
Plan your pricing according to the company requirements for"clean". But be aware that these are going to be the dirtiest trucks you will deal with, but yes, you can make money at it…
