I did my first house with 4gpm 4000psi machine it took me 3 hours due to having to re-apply bleach. Learned through the entire process that 1- don’t dilute 8.5% bleach put elemonator with it and got a lot of bubbles. I ordered 12.5% bleach was told by another company here in Ga that it works better not sure that I trust the ratio of 50/50 seems wayyyy too strong to me. Anyone want to enlighten me on a real ratio? Also learned about red clay after reading up it’s also known as rust so would I just apply a rust remover to it? I’ll show pics at the end. Learned I must look at the house before quoting prices (can’t always quote by sqft) because that house I did hadn’t been clean over 10 years plus red clay also if you walk the house which I did for loose siding and such and see that the house is falling apart would you note and still wash? After documenting it and taking a picture? This was my parents house so they knew it was like this so I just soft washed it and worked around just so it’s clean for them. Ok enough talking here’s the pictures what do you think?
Good job man. I’m new to the game as well. I have about the same size machine.
Watch out for oxidization on the sunny sides of the houses. That’s gotten me a couple times. Haven’t figured out a better way than just getting a brush and agitating it.
I just started downstreaming recently and after much experimentation, I figured out that I have to use straight 12.5% thru my injector. Before that, I couldn’t get any results. It’s not too hot because it does take a few minutes to work, so I dunno why it’s necessary. But it just is. It seems everyone has a different experience. So just find whatever works.
Check and see what your draw rate is on your injector. Probably about 10-1 on a 4gpm machine. But you need to know. Want your final mix ratio about 1% or slightly less for most houses unless stucco.
