For anyone that likes to have a few gallon jugs of 12.5% pool shock on hand, Menards had a mountain of them on sale for this weekend only for $2.99 a bottle. Just a heads up.
Ocean State Job Lot has the same deal, for those of us in the Northeast (no Menards around here). I think they keep that price all season.
I just went and picked up 4 cases tonight. The only thing I dislike about them is no date stamp (that I can find, anyway). But it seems to be strong stuff.

It’s worked for everything I’ve needed it to. Space is at a premium for me, plus, we’re not doing enough house or roof washes yet for me to think about 55 gallon barrels of SH. Even when I do housewashes I don’t typically go through more than 4-5 gallons. Maybe when the GF and I upgrade our living situation or I need to operate out of a storage unit I’ll consider it.
