Please tell me the difference between a pressure washer and a power washer

A pressure wadher is a machine whereass , yes whereass, a power washer is the man…lol

Not to derail this Northern Tool hate fest but I have a question.
If I go with a 5.5 gpm and only use a house spigot for supply, will I jeopardize the pump in the event the water pressure is only, say 4 gpm? Water pressure is good around here but I can’t control those variables. In What gpm range will these pumps work?

6.5 is ideal. A 35 gallon buffer tank is sufficient for that if you ever need it. I run 5.5 of house pressure here and have needed to buffer twice ever.

If you starve it from water it will overheat pretty quickly and seriously injure your pump. If there’s any question, either get a small buffer, 50 gal or so, or go with the 4. But don’t buy that used mitm. You can get a brand new Pressure Pro 4gpm 4000psi belt drive with cat pump for about $1395 plus freight which might be $200. With electric start it’s about $600 more. But my Honda starts on 1st pull 95% of the time and on 2nd always. You can easily pay for that in 4-5 cheapie house washes. If you have trouble finding it for that price pm me and I’ll get you hooked up.

You want belt drive or at the very least a gear drive.
