Trying to wash a shed....downstream isn't pulling soap!

Thank you

proper bleach mixture shouldā€™ve takin care of that. Kill and rinse. Bleach detaches live growth from materials and objects .
Remember that "bleach detaches live growth " Then you rinse the dead growth off the material or object. #simple

Mightā€™ve been the dawn. Iā€™ve found elemonator rinses off much more nicely than dawn or any other OTC soap.

@thinktoomuch: not all filth is ā€˜live growthā€™. Thatā€™s why bleach and water is insufficient for proper house washing. You need a little soap to help break down the inorganic contaminants on the surface. In some situations, like next to main streets, it may even be necessary to use a little degreaser such as EBC or Sodium Hydroxide, to cut through the exhaust soot.

Alex, just give up on the clown guy. He is only here to hurt the new guys. You wonā€™t convince him of anything.

Tbh, I donā€™t expect to change his mind. My posts are for the benefit of anyone else at the risk of taking his advice.

Bleach and water is house washing 101. Bad advice ? I told you guys in past posts I use a squirt about the size of a quarter of Dawn to pacify customers I think may want to see that coming down their widows. These new guys are mxing house wash concentrate and bleach at a 50/50 ratio . Anything back to the basics has to be good adviceā€”not bad advice. Am I going over your heads too ? # Housewashing101

If you think bleach and water is all you need or you are using dawn in your mix you do not need to be giving advice to anyone. Screw your customers like you have been doing but donā€™t teach that crap ro mew guys who actually want to learn to wash correctly. You Crack me up with the green tip advice.

@Jason.cole1982 Your eLemonator should arrive Wednesday. I sent enought to do fifty houses so you should be pretty good at washing by then. Donā€™t use more than the label recommends. We dispense ours out of measuring bottles. And donā€™t over rinse it. It soaps well and rinses easy. Youā€™ll like it Iā€™m sure.

Wow I donā€™t know what to sayā€¦50 houses ā€¦i think you just invested into my next pressure washer set upā€¦thank you and I will be sure to fill you in on progress ā€¦not to pour gas on this subject but do I add anything too the elemonator like dawn of bleach ?

You have trouble comprehending things I can see. This may go back to your childhood, I donā€™t know.
These new guys need to first get back to the basics, and then start tinkering around with their mix.Iā€™ve never dealt with 1/2 way washed houses in all my career. I canā€™t understand this. Theyā€™re secretly taking my adviceā€“ trust me

YEs, go on pressuretek.com and you should find a downstream article. You want maybe 3/4 to 1% bleach on the wall. Downstream ratios vary so figure out what yours is and adjust the bleach/water accordingly. We just add five ounces of eLemonator to five gallons of bleach and downstream but we are using an 8 gpm and they donā€™t draw as well as smaller pumps.

You donā€™t start of by doing shoddy work. Do it correctly from the beginning. I know you said you havenā€™t washed a lot of houses, donā€™t use professional chemicals and donā€™t care if the house is clean or has stains on it when you finish, but others do.

13 years. How have I made it this long ? #1 in this giant city my friend. You canā€™t take this away from me.

3 months of experience repeated 52 times because you refuse to learn is not really anything noteworthy.

13 years and 900 houses. Thatā€™s 1.3 house washes a week. There is nothing wrong with not being knowledgeable. There is nothing wrong with doing this part time or as a hobby. I guess there is nothing wrong with you leaving houses dirty and not removing stains. That is between you and your customers. What is wrong is you coming here and intentionally screwing with the new guys and telling them to wash without proper chems, to wash with high pressure green tips lol, and telling them it is acceptable to leave houses dirty as long as they get paid. If I couldnā€™t get 900 houses done in 2 months Iā€™d quit today. We donā€™t even do houses anymore but still squeeze in 20 a week or so for older customers I canā€™t say no to. Be a hack. No one cares. Donā€™t teach others to be hacks as well.

@guiltybystanderā€”Iā€™ve come to the conclusion that youā€™re just plain illiterate You donā€™t comprehend a damn thing. How do you even complete work your customers want done if you donā€™t listen or comprehend what their needs are ? How do you even stay in business ? Are you a rookie incognito --trying to learn something ? Damn son take some of them damn herbal pills that makes your brain work correctly. #dumb

Iā€™m just repeating word for word what you have said in your posts. What part did I get wrong? No need for foul language or personal insults. Like I and others have stated, we donā€™t care what you do or how you interact with your own customers. Just stop with the bad advice to those that do know better. Why intentionally try to mess them up if they are not in your area?
