Total Amount of Pressure Hose

I use a 1.8 for my 5.5 and it works great with 200’ and 250’ of hose.

I’m not sure if you are a one-man operation or not, but if you are, do you have to walk that 200 feet of hose back to your machine Every time in order to turn the soap off every time? Or do you switch to a higher pressure tip to not draw soap to rinse

I do both. Mostly switch to high pressure tip but sometimes I walk back to change 3 way valve to water. I like the heavy stream of water the rinse tip gives you. Sometimes I up on a 2 or 3 story deck and it’s not an option to walk back. Sometimes I don’t feel like it either.

Look into the Schertz box built by @SchertzServicesLLC. You’ll be a happy fella, pinky swear…

I built my own remote shutoff, cost roughly $100. Can’t take credit, the other guys on here gave advice. It’s nowhere near as robust or nice as the Schertz box though.

I think this year I may get with a local car audio place and see if they can hook me up with a remote that confirms shutoff so I don’t have to hike back uphill to see if the light is off/on.

If you have a buffer tank there’s no reason to have to drag the hose back to your machine every time you walk to it.

www.schertzbox.com good sir
