Rinsing roofs

We have cleaned roofs after the homeowner received a letter from the insurance underwriter that their policy renewal depended on it. But you are correct, the check came from the owner, not the insurance company.

I rinse every roof with my PW. If you use a 2560 tip you have zero risk of damaging anything.

I hope this thread isn’t dead because I read all the comments and have a couple questions. There is a large market for roof cleaning where I live. Can I apply the SH from my pressure washer using my 4 way soft wash tip from pressuretek? I see a lot of people using “roof pumps” but won’t they work the same way? Unfortunately I would have to use a ladder sometimes, but I wouldn’t actually go on the roof. I just ordered elemonator from pressuretek, can I double the recipe for a longer cling with the SH? Sorry for the string of questions but y’all sound like you know your stuff?

You can’t get a strong enough mix downstreaming through a PW. Roof cleaning requires a much stronger mix.

Search “Roof Cleaning” “Roof Mix” and “Roof Pump” here, at PTState, RCIA, and TGS…you’ll be reading for months and you’ll be well educated and ready to start roof cleaning.

Ya…what they said^. In my experience you need to hit the roof @ between 2-6% SH.

First of all I wish you all the best for this great opportunity that you find a good job and most of the people are nervous at the time of joining of their first job, so don’t much worry about this. According to me you must clear all your doubts before going on the job and for this you can see different type of Tank Cleaning videos.

They probably have medication to help what ails you.
